ENCU

Emergency Nutrition Coordination Unit (ENCU) was established in 2001 to strengthen the Early Warning System in nutrition surveillance and response. Since its establishment it has been producing and disseminating information that prompts early action in meeting the emergency nutrition and health needs of vulnerable people particularly children and women.

ENCU is now in the process of strengthening its work both at federal and regional level with wider scope.
